The contractor giving a progress report to the political leaders and technical staff of Bunyangabu District Local Government 

Today, August 15^th, Bunyangabu District leaders visited the construction site of Katugunda Seed Secondary school in Kabonero Sub County to establish the progress of the project.

These included the CAO, DISO, RDC, District Engineer, Procurement Officer, District Speaker, Communication Officer, the Executive Members among other stakeholders.

During the meeting, the contractor said the overall project’s physical progress stood at 75% and was hopeful that the remaining works would be completed within a reasonable timeframe.

The contractor also said that by the end of July, they had already completed the construction of major substructure and super structure walling, completed roofing of some classrooms and worked on internal and external finishes.

By end of September, they hope to have completed roofing of all the structures, fixed the doors and windows for all the blocks and completed the construction of 80% of verandas and the splash aprons 

The meeting requested the contractor to ensure timely payment of the workers so that they do their work professionally and according to the work plan.
